Recently Slaynit has had a few days off Waihau Bay. Helen Horrocks was the lucky angler, with Karl Magic Daniel and Api Chong Nee all battling it out in cold winter conditions. She targeted Tuna on light gear coming up trumps with a nice one of 43.2kg/10. This is a new club record and only tuna caught so far this season for the Club. She has had a lot of  other great acheivements. She has the most Tag & Release Marlin with first to tag 4 from a number of other lucky anglers.

Kingfishing is another of her passions gaining 3rd place in our November Crombie Lockwood challenge.
